LukeJarmyn published Two people rescued from cars after crash near Banstead

Two people were trapped in their cars after a crash near Banstead this morning. Police, fire crews and paramedics were called to Croydon Lane between South Drive and the junction with Carshalton Road at 8.20am. A spokesman at Banstead fire station said two cars collided with each other and one went backwards into a tree, then set on fire. Fire crews had to cut the two people free from the vehicles. A man aged in his 30s suffering with neck and leg pains has been taken to St Helier...
