An elderly Dorking couple were tragically killed when they stepped into the A25 in front of an oncoming van that had no chance of stopping in time, an inquest has heard.Leigh Hart, 89, a retired doctor, and his wife Daphne Hart, 86, a retired lab technician who worked at Oxted County School, were killed on October 21 last year after being hit by a van near to the Watermill pub. At Woking Coroner's Court yesterday (June 5), coroner Simon Wickens recorded a verdict of death in a road traffic...
