Surrey Police officers have cordoned off Barclays Bank in Redhill due to an attempted robbery this afternoon (Monday). At 4.06pm Surrey Police tweeted that officers were called to a failed robbery at the bank in Station Road, Redhill, and that one person was in custody. A follow-up tweet a short while later stated that a second person had been taken into custody.
