Fire crews from Salfords and Crawley were called to Gatwick Airport to a report of an 'aircraft in distress' yesterday evening.A member of the Salfords fire crew confirmed that they were called to the incident at 7.47pm on Thursday (May 18).She said: "We attended the incident and went to the rendezvous point and were awaiting there.
