Josh_Searle published St Bede's School in Redhill bans fidget spinners

St Bede's School in Redhill has banned 'fidget' gadgets and is warning they will be confiscated if staff catch pupils with them. The toys have become popular among young people, particularly the fidget spinner (pictured above), which users spin rapidly between their fingers. They are inexpensive and fit easily into pockets - two factors likely to have contributed to their spread into the nation's school playgrounds.
