A court has fined Network Rail £800,000 after a man working on the tracks near Redhill was hit by a train travelling at up to 90mph.Network Rail manager Alan Evans was working on the railway near Redhill, on the Quarry Line, on June 24, 2014, when he was hit, suffering life-changing injuries.The authority was charged with two counts under the Health and Safety Act after failing to ensure the health, safety and welfare at work of employees and non-employees.READ MORE: Here's where you will...
