SamTruelove published Car collision near Gatwick Airport causes 'horrendous' traffic

A collision near Gatwick Airport caused traffic in surrounding areas to be "horrendous" earlier today. The incident happened at around 6.30pm today (January 6) and occurred on the A23 London Road southbound but has since been cleared. Emergency services were reportedly on scene to deal with the incident. It is not yet known how many cars the collision involved and whether anybody was hurt.
